This website news (Text/Photos provided by School of Intelligent Manufacturing, Li Xiaofeng) – To further promote the school’s educational feature of "university-enterprise cooperation and integration of industry and education", actively implement the guiding principles from Chairman Wanjun’s Wang  speech at the 2025 Enrollment and Employment Work Summary Meeting, enhance practical understanding of intelligent manufacturing, establish a platform for internship-employment alignment, and broaden students’ industry perspectives, on December 17, Yunguo Jiang, Assistant Dean of the School of Intelligent Manufacturing, Xiaofeng Li, Deputy Head of the Student Affairs Office, along with academic advisors of the 2023 cohort, led all students of the 2023 intake to Zongshen Industrial Group Co., Ltd. in Huaxi, Banan District, Chongqing for a practical teaching activity.

Personnel in charge of Zongshen Industrial Group extended a warm welcome to the visiting teachers and students and accompanied them on a tour of the product exhibition area, Zongshen’s core engine production workshop, as well as Humi Network Technology. The teachers and students observed the entire product production process up close and gained a detailed understanding of the company’s technological achievements in areas such as smart manufacturing, digital twins, and the industrial internet. Technical experts from the enterprise provided systematic explanations on the operation of the intelligent generator production line based on actual production scenarios and offered detailed answers to specialized questions raised by the students.

Led by Yunguo Jiang, the class advisor team engaged in in-depth discussions with enterprise representatives regarding student internships and employment. Both parties focused on the enterprise's talent needs and job competency standards to jointly explore pathways for university-enterprise collaboration and the integration of industry and education. This exchange effectively facilitated precise alignment between talent supply and demand, laying the groundwork for optimizing internship arrangements, expanding employment channels, and enhancing graduates' competitiveness. It further advanced the depth and implementation of industry-education integration, supporting students' career development.

Building on the successful establishment of this university-enterprise communication platform, the School will further advance the integration of industry and education from "superficial cooperation" to "deep immersion." We will innovate talent cultivation models, jointly develop a "project-based, modular" curriculum system, co-build "teaching-oriented and R&D-oriented" practical platforms, share "authentic and value-driven" teaching responsibilities, and collaboratively cultivate "forward-looking and leading" industry academies. These efforts will deepen the fusion of theoretical instruction and industrial practice, continuously enhance the effectiveness of industry-education integration, and cultivate more high-level applied professionals to support the transformation and upgrading of regional industries.
