Our school holds a meeting of the Degree Evaluation Committee for the second half of 2025
Net news (article/picture by Xiangxiang Liu from the Academic Affairs Office)On the afternoon of December 18th, our school held a meeting of the Degree Evaluation Committee for the second half of 2025 in the first conference room of the office building. The meeting was chaired by Fangcheng Sun, Chairman of the School Degree Evaluation Committee, and all members attended.
At the meeting, Yanlian Chen, Secretary of the School Degree Evaluation Committee, first reported on the review of bachelor's degrees in the second half of 2025. The attending committee members carefully reviewed the audit situation and had a thorough discussion on the degree granting qualifications for the 2025 and previous undergraduate graduates who are scheduled to be awarded in the second half of 2025. Subsequently, the meeting voted anonymously and decided to award bachelor's degrees to 26 graduates including Yang Li , covering degree categories such as engineering, literature, and management. Fangcheng Sun read out the award resolution on site, congratulated the students who had obtained their degrees, and explicitly requested the Academic Affairs Office to follow the procedures for the subsequent production and issuance of degree certificates.

The meeting heard a special report from the School of Digital Economy and Management and the School of Intelligent Manufacturing on the application for the addition of two majors, Digital Economy and Intelligent Manufacturing Engineering, as bachelor's degree granting majors. The committee members conducted comprehensive inquiries and in-depth discussions on the application materials, taking into account the professional construction plan, talent training program, faculty allocation, teaching conditions, practical system, and quality assurance mechanism. The attending members unanimously agreed that the two majors are closely aligned with the national development strategy and regional economic and social development needs, with clear professional positioning, clear training objectives, scientific curriculum system and training program settings, reasonable teacher structure, complete teaching resource conditions, and a sound management and quality monitoring system. After deliberation, the meeting voted to approve that the majors of Digital Economy and Intelligent Manufacturing Engineering have reached the bachelor's degree authorization standards and meet the conditions for degree granting. The meeting requires relevant colleges to further improve the application materials based on the opinions and suggestions put forward by the committee members, and submit them to the President's Office for approval according to the procedures.
The meeting emphasized that all members of the Degree Evaluation Committee should further enhance their standing, strictly control the quality standards of degree granting, optimize and improve the degree granting procedures and management mechanisms. We should take degree evaluation as the starting point, comprehensively examine the entire process of talent cultivation, and continuously promote the improvement of education and teaching quality.
