Net news (article/picture College of Computer and Internet of Things Kefei Wei ) In order to thoroughly implement the national policies on college graduates' employment, actively adapt to the demands of industrial upgrading and regional development, and deepen the integration of industry and education as well as the collaborative education between schools and enterprises, from January 15th to 16th, the Computer and Internet of Things College, led by its dean Faling Li and the party branch secretary Tao Huang, along with the head of the Employment Department Kefei Wei and others, formed a special working group and went to Chengdu, Sichuan Province to carry out the special activity of "Visiting Enterprises, Expanding Job Opportunities and Promoting Employment" in winter.
During the visit, the working group focused on the development trends of the new generation of information technology industries and the dynamic of talent demands. They successively visited and conducted research on five high-quality enterprises that are representative in the fields of cybersecurity, cloud computing, artificial intelligence, education technology, and enterprise digital services. These enterprises include Yuanjiang Shengbang Security Technology Group Co., Ltd., Amazon Web Services West Region, Chengdu Mingtu Technology Co., Ltd., Chengdu Aisa Education Technology Co., Ltd., and Chengdu Yixiang Technology Co., Ltd. Through various forms such as on-site visits, discussions and exchanges, and technical experiences, they gained a deep understanding of the application of cutting-edge technologies in the industry, the enterprise's talent strategies, as well as the knowledge, ability and quality requirements for college graduates. They also reached a series of preliminary cooperation intentions in areas such as jointly establishing internship and practice bases, jointly developing micro-specializations, cooperating in order-based training, and organizing targeted campus recruitment.
On the first afternoon of the event, the working group first arrived at Shengbang Security. The two sides engaged in exchanges on talent cultivation in the field of cybersecurity, focusing on issues such as the construction of the student internship and training system, the participation mechanism for practical projects, and the two-way exchange of teachers between the school and the enterprise. Subsequently, in the West Region of Amazon Web Services, the school and enterprise sides had a fruitful dialogue on the joint construction of cutting-edge courses in cloud computing and big data, the sharing of practical teaching resources, and the construction of an innovation platform for industry-academia integration, laying the foundation for future in-depth cooperation.
The next day, the working group visited the AI digital person innovation exhibition hall of Mingtu Technology, experiencing the latest achievements and application scenarios of artificial intelligence technology firsthand. Both sides had in-depth discussions on jointly establishing an artificial intelligence minor program and jointly developing applied courses, and signed the "Internship and Employment Base Cooperation Agreement" on the spot, marking the entry of school-enterprise cooperation into a substantive stage. At AisaDa Education Technology, both sides held a special symposium, focusing on the enterprise's characteristic businesses and talent demands, and mainly discussed the optimization path of talent cultivation plans and the cooperative model of targeted recruitment. In the afternoon, during the visit to Yixiang Technology, the enterprise side detailedly introduced its technical layout and talent planning in areas such as Tencent Cloud information security and system operation implementation. Both sides initially clarified the framework of cooperation in industry certifications, course embedding, and targeted training.
Furthermore, the college's working group made full use of the breaks in the schedule and organized a symposium for alumni representatives from the Chengdu region on the evening of the 15th. The attending alumni deeply recalled their study experiences at the university, shared their career development paths and industry insights, and put forward many constructive suggestions regarding the college's professional development, curriculum reform, and employment guidance. This event not only strengthened the connection between the college and its alumni, but also collected valuable feedback from the front line for the college's talent cultivation and employment services.
This "visiting enterprises and expanding job opportunities" special action in Chengdu is a crucial measure taken by the college to actively respond to the new employment situation, actively connect with market demands, and promote the improvement and efficiency enhancement of employment work. By visiting industries, having dialogues with enterprises, and listening to alumni, the college has further clarified the reform direction of talent cultivation, expanded the high-quality employment cooperation network, and injected new impetus into continuously optimizing the discipline and major structure, innovating the talent cultivation model, and enhancing the employment competitiveness of graduates. In the future, the college will continue to follow up on the cooperation with the enterprises, promote the early implementation of all consensus, and strive to build a long-term mechanism of school-enterprise collaboration and supply-demand matching, so as to better serve the growth and development of students and the economic and social development of the region.
