News from our website (Text and photos by the Academic Affairs Office, Liang Min): On December 13th, the National College English Test Band 4 and Band 6 were held simultaneously at our Nanquan Campus and Shuangqiao Campus. A total of 5783 students registered for Band 4, with 193 examination rooms arranged accordingly. For Band 61116 students registered, and 38 examination rooms were provided. All examination-related tasks were carried out smoothly and successfully completed.
To ensure the seriousness and fairness of the examination, the school attaches great importance to this process. It strictly adheres to national education examination regulations and the requirements set by the Chongqing Education Examination Authority. All responsibilities are clearly defined, and various safeguards are implemented systematically. During the pre-examination period, the school focuses on three key areas: First, it strengthens organizational leadership by establishing an examination work leadership team, formulating detailed plans and emergency response procedures, and clarifying the responsibilities of each department and employee, ensuring that tasks are assigned to specific individuals and properly carried out. Second, the school takes strict measures to maintain confidentiality throughout the entire process. It implements a comprehensive system for securing exam papers, from receipt and storage to distribution and collection, thereby preventing any risk of leakage. Third, the school lays a solid foundation for the examination by providing training for all exam supervisors and staff through both online and offline methods, thereby improving their ability to perform their duties effectively. Additionally, the school uses LED displays in the teaching buildings to promote education on honest examination practices and warnings about violations of rules. The Academic Affairs Office, in collaboration with the Network Information Center, Security Department, and Infrastructure Support Department, ensures that all preparations are completed thoroughly, including standardizing examination rooms, testing examination equipment, ensuring power supply, implementing safety measures, and stocking necessary supplies. This helps to create a reliable environment both technically and organizationally for the smooth conduct of the examination.

On that day, an inspection team from the Municipal Examination Authority (led by Li Yongcheng, Director of the Self-Study Examination Department; Gao Bo, Deputy Director of the same department; and Hu Wei, Deputy Director of the Adult Education Department) visited our school for guidance. Zhang Yidan, an examiner from Chongqing Technology and Business University, also participated in the inspection. Tan Mingshu, Vice President of our school, along with Assistant Presidents Zou Jun and Jiang Guohua, Yang Qian, Director of the Academic Affairs Office, and heads of relevant departments accompanied them throughout the inspection. The team first went to the standardized examination room monitoring center to review the operation of the video surveillance system in detail. They then inspected various examination rooms to assess the conduct of exams, the performance of examiners, and the progress of candidates’ answers. After the comprehensive inspection, the team highly praised our school’s efficient organization and management of exams, well-ordered examination rooms, effective safety measures, and positive academic atmosphere.

During this exam, both Nuanquan and Shuangqiao campuses ensured that every step of the process—from verifying candidates’ credentials, taking attendance, allowing candidates to enter the examination room, to administering the test and collecting the papers—was carried out in a standardized and orderly manner. All invigilators fulfilled their duties diligently and followed established procedures. Examination staff worked together efficiently to ensure the smooth progress of the National College English Test Band 4 and 6. This successfully demonstrated our school’s meticulous management style and positive examination atmosphere on campus.
