Our News (Text/Photos Shuangqiao Campus Management Committee Dong Tan) On March 19th, a special lecture on consumer education was held in the lecture hall of the No.3 Teaching Building at Shuangqiao Campus. Under the theme of "Promoting Social Co-Governance and Improving Consumption Quality", the lecture was jointly organized by the Dazu District Administration for Market Regulation and the Dazu District People's Court. It aimed to effectively enhance the awareness and capacity of student consumers to safeguard their rights, and legally protect the legitimate consumption rights and interests of students.
With solid professional knowledge and rich practical experience, Gang Lin, Grade III Senior Supervisor of the Dazu District Administration for Market Regulation, delivered an insightful lecture focusing on daily consumption precautions and consumer rights protection methods. Chengyi Tan, a judge from the Dazu District People's Court, centered on consumption traps that students often fall into, such as "campus loans" and "beauty loans", and explained the law through a series of typical cases, enabling students to deeply understand the serious harms of various consumption traps.
The lecture effectively popularized knowledge about the legitimate rights and interests of contemporary college student consumers, further strengthened students' awareness and practical ability of rights protection, and comprehensively improved the consumption risk prevention level of the student group. Students expressed that through this lecture, they had gained a clearer and systematic understanding of the legal basis, channels and procedures of consumer rights protection. In the future, they would consciously strive to be rational, civilized and law-abiding college student consumers in the new era.
