Net news (article Infrastructure and Logistics Department Deng Junmei/ picture University student journalism team) In response to the theme of the 26th National Liver Health Day: "Prevent liver cirrhosis and stay away from liver cancer", to popularize knowledge about liver health and strengthen the prevention and control line against infectious diseases in schools, and to effectively ensure the physical health of teachers and students, on March 18th, the Fourth People's Hospital of Bana District, Chongqing organized a medical team to come to our school and carried out a free hepatitis B antibody screening and health science popularization activity under the name of "Love Liver, Protect Liver, Youth Together", using professional medical services to safeguard the health of teachers and students.

Before the event, the school and the Fourth People's Hospital of Bannan District carried out meticulous coordination and planning, conducted extensive publicity, clarified the screening procedures and precautions, and guided teachers and students to participate in the event in an orderly manner. At the event site, there were registration area, blood collection area, consultation area, and science popularization area. Medical staff strictly followed medical norms, patiently completed information verification, venous blood collection, specimen registration, health inquiries, etc., and the entire process was efficient, orderly, warm and considerate. Regarding the issues that teachers and students were concerned about, such as hepatitis prevention, antibody test interpretation, vaccine supplementation, and daily liver protection, the medical team answered them one by one in detail, using simple and understandable language to explain the physiological functions of the liver, the transmission routes of viral hepatitis, the prevention of fatty liver, the key points of rest and diet for liver protection, and reminding young people to avoid liver-damaging behaviors such as staying up late, excessive drinking, high-fat diet, and drug abuse, and to establish the scientific concept of "early detection, early prevention, and early health".

The liver is an important metabolic and detoxification organ in the human body and is known as the "silent organ". Early-stage lesions are difficult to detect. Hepatitis B, as a common viral hepatitis, seriously threatens public health. Antibody screening and vaccination are the most economical and effective preventive measures. This free screening covers the faculty and students of our school, helping everyone promptly grasp their own hepatitis B immunity levels, providing scientific re-vaccination suggestions for those with insufficient antibodies or no antibodies, and truly delivering health services to the teachers and students.

This medical-school collaboration charity event is not only a practical measure taken by the Fourth People's Hospital of Banan District to implement the Healthy China strategy and provide high-quality medical resources, but also a concrete action carried out by our school to promote the construction of a healthy campus and care for the physical and mental health of teachers and students. The event not only completed precise and efficient health screenings, but also popularized scientific knowledge on liver protection, and enhanced the self-health care awareness and disease prevention capabilities of teachers and students.
