Xiaoyong Tang, Deputy Secretary of the University Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Working Committee of Shuangqiao Campus, and Director of the Management Committee, and  Guohua Jiang, Assistant to the President, Secretary of the General Party Branch of the Basic College, and Dean, attended the meeting. All faculty members of the campus participated in the meeting, which was presided over by Jun Zou , Assistant to the President and Deputy Secretary of the Party Working Committee of Shuangqiao Campus.

At the meeting, Guohua Jiang made comprehensive arrangements and deployments for the teaching work of the new semester. He conveyed the new arrangements and requirements for the school's talent cultivation work, and based on the actual teaching situation of the campus, with the theme of focusing on the main teaching position and promoting high-quality teaching in the campus, he put forward three requirements for implementing the school's teaching work: first, fully recognizing the importance of classroom teaching; second, taking multiple measures to enhance the attractiveness of classroom teaching; third, effectively improving the standard of classroom teaching. At the same time, it was clearly stated that specific measures such as strengthening the teaching inspection system, fully utilizing the role of teaching information staff, conducting teaching process inspections, and strengthening practical education management would be taken to grasp and refine the work of improving classroom teaching quality, laying a solid teaching foundation for cultivating high-quality talents.

At the meeting,Xiaoyong Tang clarified the repositioning of the campus's professional colleges alongside the first-year model, reported on the phased achievements of campus greening renovation, sports field construction, teacher apartment renovation, and other engineering projects, interpreted the core content of the "15th Five-Year Plan" outline for Dazu District, and emphasized that the campus should deeply integrate into the overall local development, closely align with the needs of the times to explore employment directions and smooth employment paths, and promote the implementation and effectiveness of industry-education integration.

Regarding the work in 2026, Xiaoyong Tang conveyed the "136" work approach proposed by Chairman Wanjun Wang at the 2025 annual summary meeting. Based on the actual situation of the Shuangqiao campus, he proposed eight key tasks: scientific and precise situation analysis, comprehensive and thorough concept transformation, more effective party building leadership, effective implementation of "integration, fusion, and reform", upgrading of student work, solid progress in the construction of a safe campus, further improvement in the construction of a civilized campus, and quality improvement and efficiency enhancement in campus governance. He emphasized that "integration" should be the core, "reform" the key, "people" the foundation, and "practicality" the key to achieving results. He urged all faculty and staff to unite their efforts and strive to promote a new round of high-quality development for the campus.

At the end of the meeting, Jun Zou summarized and emphasized that all faculty and staff should keep teacher ethics and conduct in mind and strictly adhere to them in daily life. They should take responsibility for employment work and grasp it firmly in their hands. Safety work should be prioritized and implemented in a practical way. Service and support should be taken seriously and implemented in detail. With the enterprising attitude of "starting as a sprint and making a decisive battle at the beginning", we should promote the high-quality development of the campus and jointly write a new chapter in the development of the campus.

The convening of this conference has set clear goals and directions for all work at the Shuangqiao Campus for the spring semester of 2026, united our minds and efforts, further unified our thoughts, clarified our tasks, and boosted our spirit. All faculty and staff will take this meeting as a new starting point, anchor our goals, persevere diligently, and work earnestly, writing a new chapter of high-quality development for the Shuangqiao Campus in the new semester with a forging ahead attitude!
