Net news (article/Shuangyi Yang,Youth League Committee of Shuangqiao Campus, picture/ Shuangqiao Campus New Media Center)In order to deepen the cultural literacy education of college students and guide young students to feel the charm of China's excellent traditional culture, the Youth League Committee of Shuangqiao Campus organized students to visit Dazu District of Chongqing in two batches on March 20 and 26 to carry out Nanshan cultural visits and Dazu Rock Carvings research and practice activities. Through the journey of blending nature and culture, students have experienced the historical heritage, appreciated the essence of culture, and gained a vivid outdoor practice class.

In the morning, the students first arrived at Dazu Nanshan. Nanshan boasts beautiful natural scenery and abundant cultural relics, with numerous stone inscriptions and ancient sites scattered throughout the mountains, carrying a profound historical and cultural heritage. Strolling through the mountains and forests, we appreciate the natural scenery, carefully observe the stone carvings and inscriptions in the mountains, understand their historical background and cultural value, and feel the harmonious coexistence of nature and culture in a relaxed atmosphere.

In the afternoon, students went to Dazu Rock Carvings, a world cultural heritage, to start a deep cultural research trip. Dazu Rock Carvings is famous for its exquisite carving skills and rich themes, and it is an outstanding representative of late Chinese grotto art. Under the guidance of professional guides, everyone visited the core statue area one by one, listening to the historical stories, cultural connotations, and artistic features behind the statues. The wisdom and craftsmanship of ancient craftsmen impressed students, who stopped to admire, carefully recorded, and actively communicated, deeply experiencing the profoundness of Chinese traditional culture.

During the visit, the students strictly followed the regulations of the scenic area, visited in a civilized and orderly manner, and demonstrated the good spiritual outlook of our school's students. Everyone expressed that this on-site visit was far more intuitive and shocking than book knowledge, not only appreciating art treasures, but also gaining a new understanding of excellent traditional Chinese culture, further enhancing cultural confidence and national pride.

This Dazu Study Tour combines theoretical learning with practical experience, allowing young students to step out of campus, approach cultural heritage, learn while walking, and grow through insights, effectively enhancing everyone's humanistic literacy and cultural heritage awareness. In the future, Shuangqiao Campus will continue to carry out various forms of practical education activities, guiding young students to appreciate history and inherit culture through practice, and contribute their youthful strength to the promotion of excellent traditional Chinese culture.
