Anyang University President Weilong Shan and His Delegation Visit [Chongqing Engineering Institute] for Inspection and Exchange

On April 14, President Weilong Shan of Anyang University led a 15-member delegation to visit our university for inspection and exchange. Vice President Jiandong Wang accompanied the delegation on the tour. University leaders including President Fangcheng Sun, Deputy Party Secretary and Secretary of the Commission for Discipline Inspection and Executive Vice President Yeping Zhang , Vice President Mingshu Tan , and President Assistant Yugang Jian attended the symposium.

The delegation from Anyang University visited the University History Museum, Smart Campus Management Center, Digital Content Innovation Practice Center, Software Engineering Research Institute, Artificial Intelligence Research Institute, and Big Data Technology and Application Research Institute, among other facilities. The delegation learned in detail about our university’s educational history, achievements in transformation and development, and practical results of digital empowerment in education and teaching. They highly praised our university’s "school-enterprise cooperation and industry-education integration" school-running model and the "learning while doing, learning for application" talent training characteristics.

Later, the symposium was held in the 5th Conference Room of the Nanquan Campus. On behalf of the university,Yeping Zhang extended a warm welcome to President Weilong Shan and his delegation, and briefly introduced the basic situation and school-running orientation of our university.

At the meeting, Director of the Academic Affairs Office Qing Yang and Deputy Director of the Enrollment and Employment Office You Wu  introduced the work of teaching reform, school-enterprise cooperation, industry-education integration, and enrollment and employment respectively. During the discussion and exchange session, participants from both sides conducted in-depth exchanges on applied talent training, innovation of industry-education integration models, enrollment and employment work, and other aspects.

In his speech,Fangcheng Sun pointed out that 2026 is a crucial year for the university to deepen connotation construction and achieve high-quality development. He hoped that the two universities would take this exchange as an opportunity to learn from each other in industry-education integration and talent training, and jointly explore new paths for the development of application-oriented universities.

Weilong Shan expressed his sincere gratitude to our university for the warm reception, spoke highly of our university's educational achievements, and believed that our university's experience in industry-education integration and smart campus construction has important reference significance. He said that it is hoped that this inspection and exchange will serve as an opportunity to deepen cooperation between the two universities and jointly contribute to promoting the high-quality development of applied education and serving regional economic construction.

This exchange activity built a bridge for inter-university cooperation and laid a good foundation for deepening cooperation between the two sides in fields such as industry-education integration and enrollment and employment. Both sides agreed that they will strengthen communication and collaboration in the future to jointly promote the high-quality development of applied talent training.
