News from our website (Text/Photos by the Party Committee Publicity Department): Recently, authoritative organizations such as the National Computer Education Research Association of Higher Education Institutions released the Computer Competition Index for Undergraduate Students in Regular Universities (2026 edition). Our university was rated as Grade B, placing it in the same category as Southwest University and Chongqing University of Technology. For the fifth consecutive year, we have ranked first among similar universities in Chongqing. Once again, our strong capabilities prove that our university is indeed a “model of industry-academia integration and a cradle for AI talent.”

This index covers over a thousand undergraduate institutions nationwide, includes 31 highly prestigious computer-related competitions, and encompasses data spanning 14 years. It uses scientific models to comprehensively evaluate the competitiveness of universities in computer science and the quality of talent training. It represents a highly credible ranking of universities in the field of computer science across the country. Our university’s consistent placement in the B category and its continued leadership among similar institutions in Chongqing clearly demonstrate our strengths in talent training and academic development in areas such as computer science and artificial intelligence.
