The athletes, full of fighting spirit and giving their all, demonstrated strong competitive performance across multiple events. With steady play and outstanding efforts, several students successfully broke a number of university records, bringing honor to their colleges and adding new highlights to campus sports.

In the highly anticipated men's 5000-meter final, Junhong Lai
from the School of Digital Economy and Management and Fanyuan Ran from the
School of Electronic Information engaged in a fierce competition, continuously
pushing beyond their limits. In the end, they broke the previous university
record of 17:00.69 with outstanding results of 16:57.51 and 16:59.15
respectively, writing a brilliant chapter on the long-distance track with their
tenacious endurance and unwavering perseverance.

In the women's 3000-meter final, Mengyuan Tang from the School
of Software demonstrated steady performance and strong finishing ability,
maintaining excellent competitive form throughout the race. She ultimately set
a new university record with a time of 12:49.56. The previous record of
13:19.04 had stood for four years. Mengyuan Tang raised the record by nearly
half a minute, achieving a historic breakthrough and fully displaying the
remarkable prowess of female athletes.

In addition, Jiaxin Zhou from the School of Electronic
Information remained composed and delivered precise efforts in the women's high
jump event, successfully clearing 1.36 meters to break the previous university
record of 1.35 meters, creating a new height on the field with a light and
graceful leap.
On the field, the students' spirit of defying strong opponents and daring to fight hard fully demonstrated the positive and excellence-seeking youthful demeanor of our university's students. The fact that multiple students broke university records this time is not only the result of their personal rigorous training but also a vivid manifestation of the university's emphasis on physical education and its commitment to promoting the comprehensive development of students.
