School-Local Collaboration Writes a New Chapter: Our College Signs Cooperation Agreement with Zhongxian County Culture and Tourism Commission

On the afternoon of May 8th, our college held a cooperation signing ceremony and cultural exchange symposium with the Zhongxian County Culture and Tourism Commission. The two sides reached initial cooperation in five key areas: in-depth development of cultural tourism IP, research and development of characteristic cultural and creative products, joint training of cultural tourism talents, activation and utilization of cultural resources, and innovative applications of digital cultural tourism.  Chen Li, Deputy County Magistrate of Zhongxian County, and Yeping Zhang , Deputy Party Secretary, Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission, and Executive Vice President of our university, attended the meeting.

This is a complementary, mutually beneficial school-local partnership. Cultural Tourism IP Development: Leveraging core resources such as "Zhongxian Culture", Shibaozhai (Stone Treasure Village), and Baigong Ancestral Hall, the two sides will dig into the humanistic value of historical figures including Manzi Ba,Yan Yan,Ning Gan ,Juyi Bai ,and Liangyu Qin , jointly refine an IP system with unique recognition and communication power for Zhongxian County, and tell the story of Zhongxian County well.. Cultural and Creative Product R&D: Integrating creative design with local customs and features, the two sides will develop a series of "Zhongxian Good Gifts" that are visually appealing, culturally meaningful, and portable, to activate the industrial value of characteristic cultural and creative industries. Joint Talent Training: Drawing on the college's faculty advantages of "practice-oriented, integrating theory with practice" and mature on-campus training platforms, the two sides will explore the establishment of off-campus practical teaching bases and joint training mechanisms, guiding young students to take root in Zhongxian County and serve the cultural tourism industry. Activation and Utilization of Cultural Resources: Through digital collection, creative planning and other means, the two sides will promote the transformation of cultural relics and intangible cultural heritage represented by the Zhongba Site and the Wuque Han Dynasty Que (Stone Pillars) from "static protection" to "vital inheritance".Innovative Application of Digital Cultural Tourism: Combining the college's profound accumulation in digital technology, the two sides will actively introduce VR/AR, big data and other digital technologies to create immersive new cultural tourism consumption scenarios.

At the symposium, Yeping Zhang stated that our university has always adhered to the professional characteristic of "information technology, integration of learning and application" and the training feature of "learning by doing, applying what you have learned". Taking this cooperation as an opportunity, we will give full play to our disciplinary and talent advantages, write papers on the land of Zhongxian County, and promote in-depth integration of industry-university-research.Chen Li pointed out that Zhongxian County has a unique historical heritage, ecological background and cultural temperament, and this cooperation is an important step to deepen school-local collaboration and strengthen the cultural tourism pillar industry.

Forge ahead with borrowed strength, move forward with innovation. In the next step, the two sides will establish a regular joint mechanism to promote the in-depth integration of the education chain, talent chain with the industrial chain and innovation chain, and continuously incubate new formats and scenarios of cultural tourism. Facing the transformation of artificial intelligence technology, the School of Digital Arts will continue to deepen the integration of production and education, integrate AI into teaching, and vigorously promote teaching reform.
