Outstanding alumni representatives, school leaders, and faculty and student representatives from various industries in Dazu District gathered together to reminisce about their camaraderie and seek a new chapter of collaborative development between the school and the local community.

At the symposium on regional development and friendship, You Wu, Director of the Alumni Work Office and Secretary General of the Alumni Association, welcomed the return of alumni to their alma mater on behalf of the school, and provided a detailed introduction to the current development of the school and the overall situation of alumni work. Jun Chen, Deputy Director of the Student Affairs Office at Shuangqiao Campus, reported on the preparation work of the Dazu Branch of the Chongqing Alumni Association. The meeting elected Liu Chuan, a 2013 alumnus, chairman of Chongqing Dazu Longshui Yongli Cutting Tools, member of the Dazu District Political Consultative Conference, and vice chairman of the Civil Construction Longshui, as the president of the branch. Hao Zhou, a 2020 alumnus, director of the office of the School of General Education at Chongqing Vocational College of Science and Technology, and full-time organizer, was appointed as the secretary general of the branch and other members of the alumni branch team.

During the discussion and exchange, alumni enthusiastically spoke on the theme of "Development of the alma mater and regional economic synergy in Dazu". Xianwei Liang, a 2021 alumnus, member of the People's Congress and Political Consultative Conference of Tongqiao Street Office, and disciplinary inspection and supervision post, thanks his alma mater for instilling bottom line thinking and employment mentality in his career planning, calling it a "solid support on the road to success". He hopes that the school will focus on the "three articles" of Dazu's characteristic industry highland, international cultural and tourism city, and beautiful countryside city, and participate in the construction of Longjing Lake Science and Education City. He also proposes suggestions for upgrading the party building joint construction from an "activity oriented" to a "battlefield oriented" and guiding teachers and students to actively participate in grassroots governance in Dazu. Mao Kang, a 2008 alumnus, member of the Party Committee and Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission of Jijia Town in Dazu, combined his dual experience at Huawei and rural grassroots, called on the school to strengthen the guidance of students' professional values and advocate the alumni spirit of "serious work and clean conduct". Chen Yang, a 2011 alumnus who works at Dazu Transportation Commission, based on the trend of industrial transformation both domestically and internationally, suggests that the school rely on AI and big data technology to proactively lay out talent training systems in emerging fields such as low altitude economy, smart transportation, and ecological environment. Alumni such as Hao Zhou, Shulin Chen, Kaiyong Tan, Tianyuan Shu, Feng Hou, Renjie Yu, and Ting Zhang put forward multiple constructive suggestions on promoting the deepening of industry education integration, focusing on specific paths such as jointly building internship and employment bases, promoting school enterprise joint curriculum development, and integrating local industrial resources in Dazu. The atmosphere on site was lively. Several alumni expressed gratitude to their alma mater for instilling bottom line thinking and employment mindset in their career development, as well as providing continuous and warm support during the conversation.

Jun Zhou, assistant to the principal and deputy secretary of the Party Working Committee of Shuangqiao Campus, highly recognized the alumni's suggestions and emphasized that the Dazu Branch should effectively play the triple functions of "liaison officer, waiter, and propagandist", practice the school motto of "responsibility and trustworthiness, excellence and innovation", promote the two-way empowerment of alumni resources and local development, and inject new momentum into the high-quality economic and social development of Dazu District.

After the symposium, Hao Zhou, a 2020 alumnus, director of the office and full-time organizer of the General Education College of Chongqing Vocational College of Science and Technology, and Renjie Yu, a 2024 alumnus and chairman of Chongqing Zaoshu Film and Television Media Co., Ltd., brought a special alumni lecture sharing activity with the theme of "Growth Thinking in Employment and Entrepreneurship" to the younger students in the fifth conference room of Shuangqiao Campus. Two alumni combined their own transformation process from campus to workplace, from employment to entrepreneurship, and analyzed the core logic of resilience cultivation, cognitive upgrading, and resource integration through real cases. The on-site response was enthusiastic, and students benefited greatly.

During the event, alumni also visited the school history exhibition hall and the "one-stop" student community, experiencing firsthand the significant improvements made by their alma mater in terms of hardware facilities, educational environment, and cultural atmosphere. Everyone expressed that this event not only deepened emotional connections, but also built a solid bridge for the coordinated development of the alma mater and the local community. In the future, we will unite alumni who work in the university, continue to pay attention to and participate in school construction, integrate into, root in, deeply cultivate, and contribute to the university.
