 China’s First OPC Industrial College Unveiled at Chongqing Institute of Engine

Jointly built by Chongqing Institute of Engineering and Hangzhou Jushen Intelligent Entity Education Technology Co., Ltd., the establishment of the OPC Industrial College marks the official launch of in‑depth school‑enterprise cooperation between the two parties.

As the nation’s first industrial college focused on the tracks of OPC operation and AI intelligent agent operation, it has built a full‑chain collaborative talent cultivation system of "talent training – project incubation – industrial service", which precisely addresses the mismatch between supply and demand of digital‑intelligent operation talents in the digital economy sector.

The college will launch the OPC China · Chongqing Institute of Engineering Incubation Base, with 50 dedicated incubation workstations available in the first phase to provide free training for the first batch of 50 student trainees. Moving forward, it will offer systematic free training services to 200 on‑campus students every year.

The university and enterprise will jointly develop a professional curriculum system, launch targeted talent order‑based classes, and build a dual‑qualified teaching team. Meanwhile, they will carry out the incubation of commercial projects integrating "AI intelligent agents + OPC", customized enterprise services and market‑oriented project implementation. This will fully form a closed‑loop talent development pathway of "classroom learning – practical project experience – employment and entrepreneurship", delivering practice‑oriented talents well‑matched to the artificial intelligence and digital economy industries.

Chongqing Institute of Engineering provides all‑round resource guarantee and professional support for the construction of the industrial college. Adhering to the school‑running characteristics of industry‑education integration and school‑enterprise collaborative talent cultivation for a long time, the university has accumulated mature experience and fruitful achievements in the construction of digital economy‑related majors, training of application‑oriented talents, and innovation of school‑enterprise cooperation models. The School of Digital Economy and Management has incorporated the construction of the industrial college into its core major development plan. It not only supports dedicated teaching and incubation venues and undertakes daily operational maintenance, but also further integrates professional faculty, teaching resources and school‑enterprise cooperation platforms to lay a solid foundation for the high‑quality operation and long‑term development of the industrial college.
