Chongqing engineering college has won one first prize and six third prizes in the national college student mobile communication technology innovation competition

News (paper/electronic information college Tu Dunlan, university press corps) From oct 13 - oct 15,in the fifth "datang cup" national university student mobile communication technology innovation contest national finals held in north China university of technology, the site spread the good news again. Seven teams from the school of electronic information of our school took part in the competition(2 persons per team), After the fierce competition with the brother college team,we won one first prize and six third prizes.

Wang Le and Luo Wenbin won the first prize in the competition. Another six teams won third prize. They are both undergraduate students majoring in electronic information engineering at the electronic information institute in 2015.

The 14 students of these seven teams, under the full guidance of two teachers, Dong Gang and Jiang Jie, successfully passed the competition theory test organized by the organizing committee and the equipment practical operation test.

Among them, the theory examination relies on the online platform, two members of each group will answer the questions respectively, the performance evaluation is carried out in teams. It mainly includes two parts: network optimization test analysis and base station equipment operation test. The network optimization test and analysis is mainly carried out by optimizing simulation software, examined the team's data analysis and problem solving ability.Base station equipment operation evaluation, Parameter configuration, fault location, problem analysis and solution of equipment networking problems through real realization of network equipment EMB5116 login.It’mainly  examine the team's professional skills and practical ability.

Fourteen students from seven teams in the school achieved excellent results in both tests . Standing out from the crowd, won 7 grand prizes in the competition. This paper presents the characteristics of talent training of chongqing institute of engineering from a side: good theoretical foundation, high comprehensive quality and strong professional ability.

Datang cup is a national academic and engineering innovation competition project with college students as the main participants in the field of communication. This national finals was hosted by education center of national engineering practice of information and communication of the ministry of education, youth working committee of China communications association, electronic information professional group of universities in Beijing, and undertaken by northern polytechnic university, datang mobile communication equipment co., LTD. The professional scope of the competition includes communication principle, mobile communication technology, mobile communication wireless testing, td-lte /VoLTE technology principle, nb-iot and 5G technology principle, operation principle and test of td-lte network equipment, td-lte network planning and network optimization and other contents.

The competition attracted nearly 400 universities and more than 2,300 teams from China. After level by level selection, a total of more than 300 teams from the country entered the national finals, including 223 undergraduate groups, 120 specialist groups.
