Zhou Longfu, dean of software college, and his delegation went to hohai university and Nanjing institute of engineering for professional research

On November 15, 2018, dean of software college Zhou Longfu, together with six colleagues from the department of software engineering and the department of digital media technology, visited nanjing and investigated the construction of computer related majors in hohai university and nanjing institute of engineering.

On the morning of the 15th, professor Zhang Xuegang, secretary of the school of computer and information, hohai university, professor hu hexuan, vice President, and teachers of related majors warmly received zhou's delegation. President Zhou Longfu first introduced the development of Chongqing institute of engineering and the professional construction of software institute, and thanked secretary Zhang Xuegang and vice President Hu Hexuan for their warm reception. Zhang xuegang then introduced the development of hohai university, as well as the history and achievements of running a school in software engineering and intelligent science and technology, and explained the personnel training program, course design and graduate employment of these two majors respectively.

Subsequently, the two sides conducted in-depth exchanges and discussions on engineering professional certification, discipline competition, talent training program, student employment, innovation and entrepreneurship education, textbook planning and open course construction. Accompanied by secretary Zhang Xuegang and vice President Hu Hexuan, President Zhou Longfu and his entourage visited relevant experimental and practical training facilities of the school of computer and information, hohai university.

On the afternoon of 15th, President Zhou Longfu and his delegation went to nanjing institute of engineering for professional research. Professor Huang Wei, deputy dean of the school of computer engineering of nanjing university of engineering and the person in charge of the relevant major gave a warm reception. Vice President Huang Wei first introduced the Nanjing institute of engineering and related majors, and focused on teaching quality management, discipline construction, project education certification and other situations. During the communication between the two sides, President zhou and his delegation were deeply impressed by the "three-level quality management" and "embedded education" mode of nanjing institute of engineering.

In the end, both sides have conducted in-depth and detailed discussion on the degree evaluation of digital media technology and the education certification of software engineering.

This research has deepened the connection between our school and other institutions, and provided valuable experience for the discipline and platform construction of our school of software, project education certification and degree evaluation.
