The Department of Digital Media Technology launched a new version of the supporting textbook writing workshop for the "Human-Computer Interface Design" course.

On the afternoon of October 31, 2018, the Department of Digital Media Technology of the School of Software held a seminar on the compilation of the new curriculum textbook for Human-Computer Interface Design in the third teaching building 513. "Human-Computer Interface Design" is a compulsory course offered by the School of Software for undergraduates majoring in digital media technology and software engineering. The meeting summarized the course and discussed the follow-up construction of the course. Another focus of the meeting was to discuss the content, structure, and writing plan of the supporting materials. The conference was hosted by Tao Weiwei, the leader of the Digital Media Design and Production Teaching and Research Group, and all the teachers of the Digital Media Technology Department participated in the seminar.

Before the discussion, Shi Lei, the director of the Department of Digital Media Technology, first introduced the current situation of the "Human-Computer Interface Design" course and the future construction plan, and made a brief report on the series of application-oriented teaching; one of the course organizers and responsible persons Tao Weiwei introduced the preliminary planning for the compilation of the supporting materials for Human-Computer Interface Design. Afterwards, the participating teachers conducted a warm and useful discussion on the future planning of the course, and reviewed and discussed the guiding ideology, content structure, chapter distribution and writing style of the supporting materials, and reached a consensus.

The participating teachers believe that talent training has regular rules and should be taught in accordance with their aptitude; human cognition is spiraling upwards, so the follow-up training for students is worth trying and should be tried; after the course is online, "Human-Computer Interface Design" The teaching method of the course should be innovative; the preparation of supporting materials is very important, and should be carefully planned and produced.
