Chongqing university of engineering won the second prize of the group in the finals of the national tax skills competition

News(School of management Song Fangwei, college students press corps)On the afternoon of November 21th.2018 "Hengxin Cup" national tax skills competition finals (vocational group) was held in Hangzhou.After fierce competition, the school of management, Chongqing university of engineering, represented by teachers and students majoring in financial management, won the second prize of the group in the national finals.The three students who won the prize also received the admission notice of exemption from examination issued by the technical support unit of the competition, which can realize direct employment.

The three students who participated in the final contest were Fang Jianqiong, Xiong Yin and Li Cai from class 1603607, financial management major, 2016, school of management.Under the guidance of Shi Yulin and Li Xiaohua, lecturers of the department of financial management of the school of management, they competed with representatives from 72 vocational colleges from 26 provinces and cities across the country.Finally, they  stood out from the crowd by ranking 17th in total and won the second prize of the group in the national finals.The three students who won the prize also received the admission notice of exemption from examination issued by the technical support unit of the competition, which can realize direct employment.

It is understood that the competition is sponsored by the Chinese business accounting association, Zhejiang Hengxin education technology co., ltd. to provide technical support.

The competition was held in a highly simulated, real-world tax-related environment.It is an open tax skill competition which is participated, observed and experienced by tax experts, enterprise tax personnel, teachers and students majoring in finance and accounting.The aim is to train enterprises in urgent need of high-quality skilled personnel dealing with tax-related affairs, and promote the connection between the teaching environment of tax-related majors and the professional working environment.Competition promotes teaching, learning and training to enhance students' business skills and employment competitiveness.

The competition is divided into three competitive positions: tax officer, tax supervisor and tax official. The positions will be selected by lottery before the competition to mainly examine the practical ability of tax operation and basic knowledge of finance and tax of the students.
