On the morning of December 13th, the Chongqing Municipal Education Commission held the 2022 Conference on Employment and Entrepreneurship of College Graduates.

At the meeting, Yeping Zhang, deputy secretary of the party committee and executive vice president of our school, delivered a speech on the theme of “building a closed loop of talent training and bringing together the employment force of all employees” as a representative of the speaking university. Secretary Zhang emphasized in his speech that the employment work of graduates should strengthen the mechanism, adhere to market leadership, adhere to serving regional economic development, strengthen research and feedback, and strengthen the linkage between recruitment and training to build a closed loop of talent training. It is necessary to strengthen responsibilities, implement the “first-in-command” project, strengthen the employment responsibility of all employees, and provide sufficient funds to ensure that all employees can be employed.

Leaders of relevant schools from Chongqing Normal University, Chongqing University of Technology, Chongqing College of Arts and Sciences, Chongqing College of Electronic Engineering and ChongQing Water Resources And Electeic Engineering College also made speeches, sharing valuable experience for the employment and entrepreneurship of ordinary college graduates. Finally, Zhengjie Qin, full-time deputy secretary of the Municipal Education Work Committee, and Yangsong Xia, a member of the party group and deputy director of the Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, also made important speeches on summarizing the work in 2021, judging the situation in 2022, and deploying the employment and entrepreneurship work of college graduates in 2022. This points the direction for follow-up work.

Chongqing Institute of Engineering earnestly studies and implements the decisions and arrangements of the Party Central Committee and the State Council on the employment of college graduates.
