The Changing Ceremony of CQIE National Flag Guard Team at Shuangqiao Campus was Successfully Held

In order to further promote the spirit of patriotism and show the unity and enterprising and positive spirit of the students of Heavy Industry, the Changing Ceremony of CQIE National Flag Guards’ Detachment in Shuangqiao Campus was successfully held in the afternoon of March 9. The ceremony was hosted by Ru Wang, Deputy Director of Student Affairs Office of Shuangqiao Campus.

Vice President Guohua Jiang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Working Committee of Shuangqiao Campus Jian Sun, Staff Officer of the Armed Forces Department of the Party Committee of the school, Director of the Military Teaching and Research Department of the Quality Education Center Wentao Zhu, and Bo Deng of the Security Section of the Comprehensive Affairs Office attended the event.

At the beginning of the ceremony, Wentao Zhu read out the team culture construction content of CQIE National Flag Guard, and Jian Sun announced the organization and management regulations of CQIE National Flag Guard Shuangqiao Campus detachment. After that, the leaders who attended the ceremony put on the armbands for the representatives of the national flag guard team members.

“I finally put on this longed-for uniform”, Wenwen Yang, the representative of the flag guard team, thought that the uniform symbolized honor and responsibility, and she said she would always remember her responsibility and mission. After that, she led all the team members to take a solemn oath facing the national flag. The team members wore brand-new clothes, moved neatly, had unwavering eyes, and their serious and grave attitude seemed to say “I will protect the dignity of the national flag with my zealous life”.

At the end of the ceremony, Guohua Jiang fully affirmed the work of the flag guard team in the school and hoped that they could work harder to become a beautiful scenery of the school while setting an example of diligence, self-improvement and unity for all students. He also put forward three expectations for the flag guard team members:first, to sink down and become a beautiful business card; second, to act and become a beautiful scenery; third, to cherish the high honor and take up the important mission.

The changing ceremony not only recognized the previous work of the flag guard team members, but also encouraged the determination of the team members to dedicate their youthful power to our school, which made the team members further improve their actions and thoughts, and made their responsibilities and missions clearer.
