After fierce competition, 147 outstanding students of our school braved the wind and waves and made great achievements in the Chongqing Competition.

A total of 304 students participated in the competition and 147 won prizes, with a winning rate of 48%. Among them, the School of Software won 56 awards in the competition. Students Rongwei Ou, Honghua Hu, Junjie Kuang, Lianyong He, Ning Li and Hongsong Liu won the first prize in the C/C++ programming group of universities. Ziming Tang and Hongbing Hu won the first prize in the University Group of Web Application Development. School of Electronic Information in this competition, the electronic category has 44 students won awards, the software category has 3 students won, students Yonghao Tang, Li Duan, Zekun He, Zhiwen Guo won the first prize of single-chip computer design and development university group; Hong Gao won the first prize of Embedded Design and Development University Group; School of Computer and Internet of Things awarded 19 people, Yufei Ren won the first prize of C/C++ Programming University group; School of Big Data and Artificial Intelligence won 25 prizes, including 7 second prize and 18 third prize in Group B of Python Programming University. At present, a total of 14 students of the school are actively preparing for the national competition.

The school has always attached great importance to the competition, actively encouraged and supported students to participate in the competition, and made every effort to do a good job in the organization and security work. According to Juan Peng, instructor of the School of Software, among the 56 winners of the school, 43 students, including 7 first prize winners, are all members of ACM Algorithm Association, a professional student association of the school of Software. Since its establishment, with the strong support of the college, the association has been adhering to the concept of being based on the industry, combining the reality and practical practice, stimulating the members' interest in learning and research, arranging professional guidance teams, optimizing courses and developing systematic training content. Yanbin Sun, the instructor of the School of Electronic Information, said that the school set up the leadership group of the Blue Bridge Cup Electronic Design Competition, and organized three times of Blue Bridge Cup award sharing meeting, Blue Bridge Cup question analysis meeting, Blue Bridge Cup pre-prep meeting and other lectures, with the frequency of training 3-4 times a week until the competition. Yichen Liu, an instructor at the school of Computer and Internet of Things, said that the school arranges full-time teachers to provide detailed training guidance to students and urge them to carry out targeted training to better achieve the goal of promoting teaching and learning through competition. Yinglong Wang, the instructor of the Institute of Big Data and Artificial Intelligence, recalled that the Institute organized competition training, provided laboratory space for practice, and the instructor conducted learning in different ways, such as one-on-one guidance, to lay the foundation for this good result.
