More than 6,100 students participated in the online exchange activity through the "Heavy Industry Alumni" public account.

Zhihong Wu is a 2021 outstanding undergraduate graduate of software engineering from the School of Software of our university, who has worked in well-known Internet companies such as ByteDance and Xinxiaotong, and is currently pursuing a master's degree in Jiangxi University of Science and Technology, and participated in the master's program research project of Ganjiang Innovation Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Sciences.

At the sharing session, Zhihong Wu took the improvement of professional skills in project research and development as a clue, focusing on the themes of "college academic planning, job interview experience, and preparation for graduate school entrance examinations", focusing on his growth experience in participating in interviews with well-known companies such as ByteDance, Huawei, and Xinsimong, which triggered students to think about their own professional learning and future career planning paths. Zhihong Wu suggested that students should make full use of classroom learning to lay a good professional foundation at the university level, expand their professional knowledge areas through self-study after class, and improve their professional skills through project practice, professional competitions and corporate internships to achieve a gradient of professional ability. The students had a lively exchange and discussion with the seniors on issues such as "software testing, data structure, and postgraduate examination skills".

Through the role models of outstanding alumni, this online exchange activity helped students understand the requirements of Internet companies for computer professionals, and stimulated students' awareness of planning for future life.
