Net news (article/picture Office of Academic Affairs Lan Luo)The graduation project (thesis) defense of undergraduate students of the class of 2022 was successfully completed in the Sixth Teaching Building and the Seventh Teaching Building from May 14th to 24th. Relevant personnel of the Academic Affairs Office inspected the defense site. A total of 3,594 students from seven schools, including the School of Big Data and Artificial Intelligence, the School of Software, and the School of Digital Arts, participated in the defense. There are defense classrooms and waiting rooms for students at the defense site of each college, and the work organization is standardized and orderly.

The students who participated in the defense were full of spirit, neatly dressed and dignified. They used PPT to present and report their graduation project (thesis). The students who had designed physical works showed their functions. The judge of the defense questions the students from the aspects of literature reading, basic theory, application of professional knowledge, calculation method and experimental test. Students who cannot return to school due to the epidemic will take online defense according to the epidemic prevention and control requirements.

On the whole, in strict accordance with the requirements of the graduation project (thesis), each school has formulated the defense work plan, established the defense committee, set up the defense team, and defined the specific implementation links and requirements such as formal review, on-site defense, online defense, grade evaluation and data filing. The organization, management and process implementation of the defense work are in place. The defense plan and arrangement were announced one week in advance, and the site staff took their own responsibilities.The defense work was successfully completed.
