 Student Legal Volunteer Service Team of CQIE Visited the Banan District Court

Net News (article/picture Legislative Affairs Office Lu Huang) In order to enhance students' awareness of the legal system and personally feel the sacredness and solemnity of the law, on June 15, students from the legal volunteer service team of CQIE’s students walked into the Banan District Court, visited the site, and had zero contact with the daily work of the court.

After arriving at the court, the students observed the trial of a marriage and family dispute case on the spot, and felt the process of the trial and the work of the judge at close range. After the trial, Judge Jichao Wu of Banan District Court led the students to visit the Litigation Service Center, Lao Ma Studio and the Comprehensive Mediation Room of the People's Mediation Committee in the court, and introduced the basic situation of the Banan District Court, the relevant procedures of case filing, trial and execution, and the functional application of information construction in the trial, so that the students fully felt the convenience and efficiency of the smart court. After the visit, the judge of Banan District Court held a symposium with the students, and Judge Hongmin Mao, president of the juvenile division of the Banan District Court, the "mother judge", Judge Jichao Wu, an advanced individual in national law popularization work, and Judge Yi Liu, a young backbone, answered the students' questions on the spot. Finally, everyone took a group photo at the entrance of the Banan District Court.

Through this activity, the students have a deeper understanding of the court trial procedures, further understand the rights and obligations entrusted to us by the law, improve the students' interest and enthusiasm in learning law, and at the same time, through observing cases, let everyone apply the legal knowledge they have learned to real life, have a more practical experience of the law, feel the atmosphere of the rule of law, and strengthen the belief in the rule of law.
