Yunfang Jiang, Director of Higher Education Office of Chongqing Education Commission was invited to give special guidance. All university leaders, Party and government offices, Academic Affairs Office, Science and Technology Department, Personnel Department, Finance Department and other functional department heads, deans of secondary schools and other relevant personnel attended the meeting. President Guoqing Gui presided over the meeting.

In the seminar, Yunfang Jiang, director of Higher Education Office of Chongqing Education Commission, explained the relevant policies and document spirit of Chongqing in detail from the background of classified development and evaluation of ordinary undergraduate universities in Chongqing, focusing on seven aspects, such as talent training orientation, discipline construction, specialty construction, scientific research level, teaching staff, personnel system and condition guarantee. To put forward opinions and suggestions on the main measures of the school's classified development and construction. Yunfang Jiang pointed out that the classification development and evaluation work have an important impact on the high quality and conformal development of the school in the future, and it is the internal requirement for the systematic promotion of the reform of education evaluation, the differentiated development, the characteristic development and the innovative development of colleges and universities.

During the exchange and speech session, the representatives of the functional departments of the university and the secondary schools consulted Director Yunfang Jiang on the relevant key work. Director Jiang gave detailed and pertinent guidance and answered questions.

President Guoqing Gui pointed out in the summary speech of the seminar that first, the school should fully realize the significance of classification development and evaluation to the long-term development of the school, grasp the scientific connotation and spiritual essence of classification development and evaluation, make clear the future development direction of the school, and pay attention to the embodiment of school-running characteristics and differentiated development. Second, it is necessary to learn and understand the construction content and evaluation index of the classified development and evaluation implementation plan of Chongqing undergraduate universities. According to the orientation of application-oriented colleges and universities, combined with the requirements of specialty setting and industrial talent training, the system grasps the requirements of talent training, discipline construction, professional development, teaching staff and input of conditions. Third, we need to strengthen responsibility, division of labor and coordination. All units of the school should analyze the evaluation contents and construction measures in the evaluation indexes into the school's annual work points and target task assessment system one by one according to the classification evaluation index system and the school's development plan for the 14th Five-Year Plan, so as to achieve the goals and tasks of the school's implementation of the classification characteristic development with high quality.
