The school constantly innovates its working mechanism to achieve a virtuous cycle of Party building, school development and personnel training. Adhering to moral education as the first priority and following the basic laws of education and teaching, the school has formed a higher level of personnel training system, integrating moral education into ideological and moral education, cultural knowledge education and social practice education, and has achieved fruitful results.

The grassroots Party organization of our school has been selected as the national benchmarking department of Party building and the model branch nurturing and founding unit. The Ministry of Education has released the third batch of 11 national model universities for Party building, 100 benchmark institutions and departments for Party building, and 1,000 model branches for Party building. The General Party Branch of School of Computer and Internet of Things of our University was selected into the third batch of “National Benchmarking Institutions for Party Building Work”, and was the only private university in Chongqing to be selected into the list. At the same time, the first Party branch of Software School students was selected as the third batch of “National Party Building model branch” cultivation and creation units list.

The Java Software Development Technology Teaching and Research Section of our school won the honorary title of “Worker Pioneer” in Chongqing. On April 28th, Chongqing Federation of Trade Unions and Chongqing Human Resources and Social Security Bureau held a ceremony to celebrate the “May Day” International Labor Day in 2022 and award the “May Day Labor Award” and the “Worker Pioneer” in Chongqing. Java Software Development Technology Teaching and Research Section of Software School of our University won the honorary title of Chongqing “Worker Pioneer” in 2022, which is another honor after the Teaching and Research Section was awarded the typical case of Chongqing Excellent Grassroots Teaching organization and the Excellent Teaching Team of Chongqing Institute of Engineering.

Two courses of our school have been approved as the first-class undergraduate courses of Chongqing Universities in 2021. Recently, Chongqing Education Commission issued the Notice of Chongqing Education Commission on Announcing the List of First-class Undergraduate Courses in Chongqing Universities in 2021 (No. 5 of Chongqing Education Gao Han (2022)). Two courses of our university, “Database Technology and Application” and “Higher Mathematics B”, were recognized. Among them, an online first-class course, a combination of online and offline first-class course.

Our school won the honorary title of “Chongqing Outstanding Team in Conscription Work” in 2021. Recently, Banan District held the 2022 armed Work Conference and the plenary session of the State Action Committee. Chongqing Government conscription Office issued the Commendation Notice on the Outstanding collective and individual achievements in 2021 Conscription work, praising the Ministry of Human Forces and key universities with outstanding achievements in 2021 conscription work. Our school was awarded the honorary title of “Chongqing Conscription work Outstanding Collective”.Yousheng He, Secretary of the Party Committee of Banan District, presented the award to our school. Xiaoyong Tang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Committee and president of the Trade Union, accepted the award on behalf of our school.

The Enrollment and Employment Department was awarded the outstanding collective of Chongqing University employment and entrepreneurship work in 2021. Recently, Chongqing Education Commission and Chongqing Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau issued “Chongqing Education Commission and Chongqing Human Resources and Social Security Bureau on 2021 college graduates outstanding performance in employment and entrepreneurship, collective and individual praise Notice” (Chongqing Teaching Letter (2022) 10), The Enrollment and Employment Department of our school was rated as a group with outstanding performance in employment and entrepreneurship in Chongqing in 2021, and Jun Yang from the Enrollment Department was rated as an individual with outstanding performance.

Our school has 7 projects approved by the Ministry of Education supply and demand connection employment education project. On April 6th, the Department of Student Affairs in Colleges and Universities of the Ministry of Education published the first phase of supply and demand connection employment education project list. There are 7 projects in our university, including 1 job guidance center, 5 school of computer and Internet of Things, and 1 school of management. After school application, employer application, expert review, project establishment unit information verification and other processes, the project has been approved successfully.

Our school won the title of “Advanced Collective of Legal Publicity and Education in Chongqing Education System”. Recently, Chongqing Education Commission issued the Circular on Advanced Collectivities and Individuals in the Publicity and Education Work of the Rule of Law in Chongqing Education System (No. 4, Yujiao Policy Letter (2022)), and our school was awarded the honorary title of “Advanced Collectivities in the Publicity and Education Work of the Rule of Law in Chongqing Education System” due to its outstanding achievements. At the same time， Jun Zou, director of the Legal Affairs Office, won the honorary title of “Advanced Individual of Legal Publicity and Education in Chongqing Education System”.

Our teachers won great achievements in the 5th National Digital Creative Teaching Skills Competition. Recently, the award list of the 5th National Digital Creative Teaching Skills Competition (track of ordinary colleges and universities) was announced. Many teachers from School of Digital Arts and School of Software in our school won the first, second and third prizes. Among them, Peng Yun from School of Digital Arts won the first prize of Environmental Art Design Group for his design of “Nature, Future” environmental Theme Exhibition Hall_Preliminary Research and Practice Class of project.

Yanling Zeng from School of Management won the third prize of the 10th Chongqing College Counselor Quality Contest. From April 25th to 27th, Yanling Zeng, counselor of School of Management, represented the school to participate in the 10th Chongqing College Counselor Teacher Quality and Ability Competition. She won the third prize and ranked 17th among 52 contestants.

Our teachers won the first selection contest of Science Communication experts in Banan District. On May 25th, the selection competition of the first batch of science communication experts in Banan District, sponsored by the Banan District Science and Technology Association and the Banan District Science and Technology Bureau of Chongqing, came to a successful conclusion. The event was organized by the District Science and Technology Association and the District Science and Technology Bureau. With the theme of “Striving for innovation, self-reliance and self-improvement”, 29 contestants from all walks of life in the district participated in the final. After fierce competition, Xiaoling Zhang, selected by Chinese Culture Animation Research and Development and Communication Center, won the honorary title of “Science Communication Expert”.

Class 1 of 18 Wisdom Science in our school won the honorary title of Chongqing “May 4th Red Flag Youth League Branch”. Recently, the Municipal Organization Department, the Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, the Communist Youth League Committee jointly issued the Decision on Awarding 2022 “Chongqing Youth May Fourth Medal”, our school of Big Data and Artificial Intelligence Grade 2018 intelligent science and technology major Class 1 won the honorary title of “May Fourth Red Flag Youth League Branch”.

The students' deeds of our school were selected as “The Employment and Entrepreneurship Deeds of Chongqing College Students in 2022”. Recently, Chongqing Education Commission issued the Notice of Chongqing Education Commission on announcing the selection results of Graduates' employment and Entrepreneurship Stories in 2022 (Chongqing Teaching Letter (2022) No.13). Wu Changyou, a student from the College of Digital Arts in our school, was selected as one of the “2022 Chongqing College Students' Employment and Entrepreneurship Personas_ College Soldiers in Military Barracks”.
