Good News: The Teachers of Our School Won Great Achievements in the 13th "Foreign Language Club Cup" National College Foreign Language Teaching Competition (College Foreign Language Group) in Chongqing

Net news (article/Teacher development center Jing Zhang) Recently, the winners of the 13th "Foreign Language Club Cup" National College Foreign Language Teaching Competition (College Foreign Language Group) in Chongqing were announced. All the participating teachers of our school achieved excellent results.

On November 5th and 6th, the final match of the 13th "Foreign Language Club Cup" National College Foreign Language Teaching Competition (College Foreign Language Group) was held in Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications. College English teachers from more than 20 universities in Chongqing competed together. The competition is divided into (visual) listening and speaking course group, comprehensive course group, Japanese course group three groups, our school of general education teacher Ting Liu won (visual) listening and speaking course group third prize, the teacher Weijun Ran won the comprehensive course group third prize. Meanwhile, Jinmei Zhang, Fuju Ding and Jia Jian (team) from School of General Studies won the third prize of Listening and speaking course group in the selection of teaching guidance team. Jinmei Zhang, Jia Jian and Dandan Xiang (team) won the third prize of comprehensive course group.

It is reported that the "foreign teachers Cup" national foreign language teaching competition started in 2010. It is the earliest national foreign language teaching competition held in Chinese colleges and universities, and has been held 13 times. The competition has been widely praised for its rigorous, innovative and fair philosophy. It once ranked the first place in the Foreign Language teaching Competition in the "Analysis Report of National College Teachers' Teaching Competition (2012-2020)" issued by China Association of Higher Education.

Our school has long been adhering to the spirit of "promoting teaching by competition, promoting reform by competition", attaches great importance to and supports all kinds of teaching competitions of teachers. The two winning teachers demonstrated the strong teaching ability of our young teachers in the competition, which is the embodiment of the practical achievements of our school's English teaching reform. We hope that all teachers will continue to improve their teaching level and help our school's education career move forward steadily.
