In the campus of Heavy Industry, there is always a kind of guardian, in a place you can't see.

We interviewed Ms.Dongmei Liu from the Infrastructure and Logistics Office, who is mainly responsible for the personnel clearance work of the school, as well as the organization and coordination of the cleaning staff and cafeteria staff. Since the closure of the control on November 8, Ms. Liu and her team have been working on the personnel clearance of the staff dormitories. This does not sound difficult, but it is not easy to do. They had to make phone calls one by one, and if they couldn't speak clearly on the phone, they had to go to the house to inquire, and if they couldn't contact the head of the household, they had to talk to the nearby neighbors and third parties to understand the situation.

The second is the work of ensuring the supply, because the current epidemic situation is serious, many suppliers are in the closure control, can not buy goods to the school, the canteen vegetables are picked from the base immediately sent to the school. Each region has different entry and exit requirements, and Jun Zou, director of the Party and Government Office, has been communicating and coordinating with communities and streets to try to get the goods to the school normally, to ensure that students can eat and buy goods normally.

On the night of November 8, when the school was closed, Ms. Dongmei  Liu called the cleaning staff in an emergency, and 50 of the 56 cleaning staff arrived overnight, most of them were uncles and aunts in their 50s and 60s, who rushed to the school when they heard the news.

Don't we have the feeling that the hallways of the dormitories, the hallways of the buildings, and the streets of the campus are always clean when we don't see the janitorial staff often? That's because when we are still sleeping, the cleaning staff is already on duty. In general, at 5:00 a.m., the aunts and uncles start to sweep the leaves and garbage in the streets, and the aunts in charge of the school buildings start to sweep and mop the floors, and in order not to disturb the study of the students, they always clean up early and wait for the students to attend classes. Every day at five o'clock to the post.

The workload of the dormitory garbage disposal aunties is the greatest, especially now that students choose to take their meals back to their dormitories to eat, more dormitory garbage is generated, those clean garbage cans are cleaned up, sorted, packed and hauled out by them little by little, they have to work until 9 pm every day before they can go back to their dormitories to rest, sometimes even later. In addition to cleaning and garbage disposal, they also have to disinfect the designated areas on time and on schedule, including the school building, cafeteria, dormitory, and all corners of the school.

Because of the epidemic, all staff can only temporarily live in the school, but the dormitory bed space is limited, many cleaning aunts are in the dormitory bunk, crowded together to sleep. Ling Zuo , the teacher responsible for the management of cleaning aunts, said, "At first many aunts are a bit uncomfortable, no bed, can only borrow sheets of cotton wool on the floor, there is no change of clothes, it is really difficult, but none of the aunts said to leave!"

When it comes to hard work,Ling Zuo said, "We can't talk about hard work, it's our duty. Whenever we hear a greeting from the students, our heart is always warm, thank you very much for your understanding and concern.

Ms. Dongmei Liu led us to interview Manager Shenglan Wang, who is in charge of the canteen management, and she introduced us the general workflow of the canteen. The first level is the supervision of the ingredients, the ingredients will be accepted, and the unqualified vegetables and fresh meat will be returned for re-order; the second level is the processing, the staff will start to select and wash and soak the vegetables at 7:00-8:00 am to ensure the cleanliness and hygiene of the ingredients; the third level is the cooking, the general stall will start to prepare the meals at 10:00 pm for lunch. Done after testing whether the temperature is up to standard, whether the taste is consistent, with uniformity, all qualified before being allowed to sell. And do breakfast window at 2:30 am or 3 am to start preparing ingredients, and dough, stirring, on the steamer, 6 am everything is ready to meet the arrival of students.

During the epidemic prevention period, the cafeteria staff had to clean up their stalls every night after the students stopped eating before they could leave, usually closing the stalls at 21:00, cleaning and doing cleaning, disinfecting dishes and rags, and going back to rest only after everything was done, that is, after 22:00 at night.

Because of the uncertainty of cargo transportation time, they have no rest time every day and are on standby 24 hours a day, as long as there is an ingredient cargo delivery to come, they have to go to move the goods. Even at 1:00 a.m., everyone is sleeping, some may have just finished washing up, a phone call came, and everyone rushed to the point of goods, after unloading all the goods for half an hour of disinfection, some drove to the trust, some pulled the cart a box, a bag of push, some will lift together with their bare hands, little by little all the goods are placed into the canteen ground warehouse, only to go back to sleep, but not for long, but sleep. They have to get up and prepare for the next day's work. "This is actually our job, our purpose is to let students eat, eat safely, eat at ease, do not worry, we will try our best to ensure the supply of supplies! Wang Shenglan said so.

Dongmei Liu teacher said: because of the constraints of accommodation, most of the staff are sleeping in the warehouse, with a few empty baskets put together as a bed, lay a sheet on so sleep.

The oldest one is only 15 years old, and she worries about her children outside the school while doing epidemic prevention work every day.Shenglan Wang mentioned the situation with tears in her eyes and said, "The conditions are very difficult, but no staff is complaining, we are united at this moment and actively facing the difficulties.

The epidemic is relentless, but there is love on earth. We are now able to carry on with our lives normally because of this group of people behind us who are carrying the weight for us.
