On the afternoon of November 25th, GUI Yang , Vice President and Dean of the School of General Studies, gave a lecture exchange for the teachers of the school. All the faculty and staff of the School of General Studies participated in the training, which was held in Room 302 of the teaching building of Shuangqiao Campus and the Tencent Conference.

Centered on the theme of "What to say and how to say it", GUI Yang conducted training from the aspects of curriculum categories or characteristics, content perspective, textbook perspective, curriculum ideology and politics, learning situation, teaching philosophy and teaching methods, assessment and evaluation, curriculum characteristics and precautions.

It is emphasized that the teaching objectives should focus on the connection between the talent training program and the curriculum, combined with the "gender one" to clarify. "Teaching material" in addition to the "label" of the teaching material itself, should also be the teaching content optimization, improvement and follow-up of the main teaching methods, practical training objectives and so on clearly. "Curriculum Ideological and political thinking" can be sorted out from the universality of curriculum ideological and political thinking as well as the discipline and professionalism of this course, and form a curriculum ideological and political system by systematically thinking about contents, cases, organizational methods, assessment and evaluation. It can be developed from four aspects: "general feeling", "discipline (specialty) feeling", "individual temperament" and "other feelings". When it comes to teaching concepts and methods, the ideas can be determined from the macro level and curriculum level. Strategies such as "task-driven teaching method", "mixed teaching mode" and "heuristic teaching" should be made good use of to achieve "teacher-oriented, student-oriented, more encouragement and good recognition". In the process of assessment and evaluation, we should pay attention to the key points of change and reform compared with the original, and pay attention to the logic consistent with the teaching objectives, with the applicability, with the theme teaching method, and with the overall teaching design. When it comes to course features, pay attention to "tow no, tow should" (logic not deviate, requirements not backward, content to be specific, PPT to be concise and bright), and do "have ideas in the heart, thinking in the mind, action has the direction".

The teachers who participated in the training said that Principal Yang explained the content of the class in a wide and deep way, and the content was logical, which had a strong guiding significance for teachers to improve their teaching ability and classroom efficiency, and they were deeply impressed.
