Our university organized the 7th Chinese Higher Education Intelligent Teaching and Classroom Teaching Reform Forum

Net news (article/ CPC publicity department picture/ College student press corps Yuanhao Zhang、Xinyi Liu) In order to study and implement the spirit of the Party's 20 National Congresses, continuously promote the high-quality development of higher education, and implement the requirements of the National Education Congress and the National Conference on Undergraduate Education of Higher Institutions in the New Era, the Seventh Forum on Intelligent Teaching and Classroom Teaching Reform of Chinese Higher Education was held in Chongqing.

It is reported that the 7th China Higher Education Intelligent Teaching and Classroom Teaching Reform Forum is an important part of the 58th and 59th China Higher Education Expo held in Chongqing on April 8th-10th, 2023. On April 8th, at the forum held in Chongqing International Expo Center, Secretary of the Party Committee and Supervisor Tan Mingshu was invited to be one of the hosts.

On April 9th, Chongqing Institute of Engineering sub-Forum was held in our school. The forum was sponsored by China Association of Higher Education and hosted by Chongqing Institute of Engineering. Leaders and experts from more than 300 universities, all home school leaders, heads of departments and representatives of teachers and students participated in the event. The meeting was presided over by Yeping Zhang, Deputy Party Secretary and Executive Vice president.

In his speech, Mingshu Tan, on behalf of more than 17,000 teachers and students of the whole school, welcomed the experts and teachers from all over the country, and briefly introduced the basic situation of the school and the exploration and achievements in the construction and reform of the smart campus.

Xiaojun Pi , director of the Network Information Center, and Qian Yang, director of the academic Affairs Office, respectively made a special report on the construction and application of intelligent teaching system in colleges and universities from the perspective of informatization with the title of "Digital Intelligence in the Future, Technology Achievements in the New Beauty of Education" and "From 1.0 to 4.0, Heavy Exploration of intelligent Teaching". They also shared their exploration and thinking in the construction of smart campus, smart teaching and classroom reform.

After the report, the participants came to the wisdom teaching site of the seventh teaching building of our school under the leadership of volunteers, and observed the teaching methods such as the equipment level of the classroom, interactive feedback, high-definition live recording and broadcasting. They visited, investigated and exchanged views on new infrastructure systems such as information networks, platform systems, digital resources, smart classrooms, innovative applications, and trusted security. In the course of the investigation, the experts affirmed the school's achievements in wisdom teaching.

Over the years, the university has adhered to the characteristics of "information technology +" application-oriented talents training and "school-enterprise cooperation, integration of production and education", and has transferred nearly 50,000 application-oriented talents to the whole society in total. For five consecutive years, it has been awarded the title of "Advanced Collective of Chongqing Colleges and Universities in Employment Work", the construction of "Chongqing Characteristic Demonstration Software College", and the pilot construction unit of the National intelligent Education platform in Chongqing. Innovation Park (Heavy Industry Innovation Valley) is the national record of the public innovation space.

The development of information promotes the industrial upgrading of all walks of life. The intelligent era calls for the reform of classroom concept, classroom space and classroom teaching. In the future, the school will continue to strengthen teachers' information-based teaching ability, promote the information-based reform of education and teaching, and promote the continuous improvement of the quality of personnel training.
