Our school's innovation and entrepreneurship park has been recognized as the Western (Chongqing) Science City Dachuang Valley Satellite Park.

The Innovation and Entrepreneurship Park of Chongqing Institute of Engineering was established in October 2014, under the guidance of the Municipal Education Commission, Municipal Science and Technology Bureau, and Banan District Government. It is an innovation and entrepreneurship incubation platform established for teachers and students based on the characteristics of the school's disciplines and majors. It is an important carrier for the school to carry out innovation and entrepreneurship practices and an important battlefield for spreading innovation and entrepreneurship culture, helping to cultivate "well grounded, high-quality, and capable" applied senior specialized talents.

In recent years, the park has been awarded nearly 20 honorary qualifications by multiple departments such as the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League, the Chongqing Science and Technology Bureau, and the Chongqing Education Commission. It has been recognized as a national record maker space, a youth employment and entrepreneurship demonstration base, a Chongqing science and technology enterprise incubator, a Chongqing maker space, a Chongqing university maker space, and a Chongqing university student entrepreneurship demonstration base.
