The Students of Our School Won Great Achievements in the 2nd Chongqing College Students Mechanics Competition

Net news (article/ picture College of General Studies Yang Chen) On April 24th, we learned from Chongqing Education Commission that our students won 1 first prize, 2 second prizes, 3 third prizes and 10 excellence awards in the second Chongqing Mechanics Competition for College Students.

The school competition of this competition is led by the School of General Studies, jointly organized by the School of Architecture and Engineering, and strongly supported by the School of Innovation and Entrepreneurship. More than 100 students from the School of Architecture and Engineering, the School of Electronic Information and the School of Software and Artificial Intelligence signed up for the school competition. After three months of on-campus selection, intensive training and pre-competition tests, a total of 50 students participated in the municipal competition.

It is reported that the second Chongqing College Students Mechanics Competition sponsored by Chongqing Education Commission, Chongqing Mechanics Society guidance, Chongqing Jiaotong University undertook. A total of 1022 undergraduates, postgraduates and junior secondary school students from 11 universities such as Chongqing University, Southwest University and Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications participated in the competition. A total of 16 grand prizes, 55 first prizes, 83 second prizes, 137 third prizes and 200 excellence awards were selected. This biennial competition, sponsored by Chongqing Education Commission and guided by Chongqing Mechanics Society, aims to test students' ability to build mechanical models and solve practical problems by integrating basic theories of college physics, theoretical mechanics and mechanics of materials courses.
