The Library of Our School Held the Theme Exhibition of Chongqing Bayu Culture Flow

Net news (article/ library Shiyong Tang picture/ Picture center Ya Zhang）In order to strengthen students' understanding of Bayu culture, better learn traditional cultural knowledge of Bayu and promote the inheritance and development of Bayu culture, our school library and Chongqing Ba Ren Museum held a mobile theme exhibition of Chongqing "Ba Culture" in Nanquan Campus from April 17th to 24th.

This mobile theme exhibition focuses on "ancient legends and the origin of the Ba people", "Ba people's writing symbols", "Ba people's bronze culture", "Ba people's economic activities", "the rise and fall of the Ba country and General Ba Manzi", "Ba people's music and dance" and "the evolution of the Ba people" and other themes. Focusing on the Ba cultural relics unearthed from TongguanyiDongbamboo Dam in Jiulongpo District and the major archaeological discoveries of the Ba culture in the Three Gorges in the past three years, the paper makes full use of pictures and text descriptions to show the origin and development of the Ba culture, the history of the rise and fall of the Ba culture and the whole process of the evolution of the Ba culture. The exhibition received warm attention from teachers and students and attracted thousands of people to watch the exhibition, which played a positive role in promoting Bayu regional culture and enhancing national cultural confidence.

The exhibition is also supported by the Chongqing Baren Museum. Chongqing Ba-Ren Museum is located in the center of the Ba-cheng City of Jiulongpo District. It was officially established with the approval of Chongqing Municipal Bureau of Culture (Bureau of Cultural Relics). It is the only medium-sized museum in China dedicated to displaying Ba-ren, Ba-ren and Ba-ren culture, playing a good role as a window and bridge in protecting local cultural relics resources, displaying Ba-ren history and culture, serving and receiving Chinese and foreign tourists. The library of our school will also take this exhibition as an opportunity to further strengthen the cooperation with the Ba Ren Museum and make more excellent achievements in carrying forward regional culture, national culture and intangible cultural heritage.
