NUST's 2nd Engineer Excellence Class Held Completion Ceremony

The Dean of Chongqing College of NUST, Jiahu Yuan, the Director of Academic Affairs Office,Xiangdong Li, some mentors of the Engineer Excellence Class, the Secretary of the Party Committee and Supervisor of our university, Mingshu Tan, the Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Executive Vice President, Yeping Zhang, leaders of relevant functional departments, leaders and teachers of School of Software and Artificial Intelligence, School of Computer and Internet of Things, School of Electronic Information and all students of the 2nd Engineer Excellence Class of NUST attended the ceremony.

At the ceremony, Xiangdong Li made a summary report on the study of the 2nd Engineer Excellence Class, reviewing the study and practice of the Engineer Excellence Class in the past year.

In his speech,Mingshu Tan expressed his hope that the students would appreciate the quality learning platform provided by NUST, be grateful for the hard work of their mentors, and use the knowledge and self-confidence gained during their study at NUST to focus on excellence and build a successful business in their new positions.

Jiahu Yuan pointed out in his speech that NUST and Chongqing Engineering College implement the 3+1 joint training of schools and colleges. It reflects the cultivation of talents for the Party and the country, and is a pragmatic initiative to achieve high-level national scientific and technological self-reliance and self-improvement, and to cultivate strategic scientific and technological talents with international level, scientific and technological leaders, young scientific and technological talents and high-level innovation teams.

Mentor representative Chang Yuan Lin, student representative and excellent class cadres made speeches and shared their experiences and insights of this excellent engineer class; the leaders presented certificates to excellent student cadres and excellent students and certificates of completion to all students. The students choreographed and performed a song and dance show to express their gratitude to the mentors for their hard work through the flower-laying session.

After the ceremony, all the staff took a group photo. It is reported that since the school and the Chongqing Institute of Chinese Academy of Sciences launched the "school-school cooperation, collaborative education" project, the school has successfully held two sessions of the NUST Excellent Engineer Class, training a total of more than 100 students, which has been fully affirmed by the Chongqing Municipal Education Commission, NUST Chongqing Institute and other leaders at all levels, and has become a special collaborative education project for the school to deepen the "school-enterprise cooperation, industry-education integration" talent training model and improve the training of applied senior professionals.
