Tan stressed that the development of the cause of the Party and the people requires successive struggle from generation to generation of Chinese Communists, and that the fundamental plan of succeeding generations must be grasped.As the forefront of the ideological and political work of young people, colleges and universities should study and propagate Marxism, train qualified builders and reliable successors of socialism with Chinese characteristics.Teachers and staff, especially leading cadres, should grasp their responsibilities and mission accurately, maintain propaganda and explain the two establishments, theoretically, emotionally and faithfully.

Participants at the meeting said that Xi Jinping's new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics has rich connotation, profoundness and profound thought, and should study hard to understand the learning materials.
