Net News(Article/Picture Office of Teaching Quality Control Shulin Zhou)In the afternoon of May 18th, the Office of Teaching Quality Management organized and held the 2023 annual professional evaluation review meeting in the fifth conference room, to data science and big data technology, robot engineering, art and technology, civil engineering, financial management and other 5 professional construction conditions were centralized review. Tan Mingshu, Secretary of the Party Committee and Vice President, Yang Qian, Director of the Academic Affairs Office, Jian Yugang, dean of the School of Management, Lei Jiang, dean of the School of Architectural Engineering, Yang Kaifu, dean of the School of Digital Arts and other 9 experts and 5 professional leaders attended the review meeting. The review will be presided over by Director Zhao Yu of Teaching Quality Management Office.

At the meeting, 5 professional leaders respectively from the training program, teachers, support conditions, professional teaching, student development, continuous improvement, professional characteristics and other seven aspects on the construction of the professional situation and achievements, highlights of the report. The expert judges made a comprehensive evaluation of the construction of each major by listening to the report, consulting the professional status table, professional evaluation table and related supporting materials of professional construction and asking questions. It fully affirmed and highly recognized the achievements made in the training objectives, professional positioning and practical teaching of each specialty. Meanwhile, it also pointed out the existing problems and deficiencies in the personnel training program, faculty structure, laboratory construction and scientific research results, and put forward feasible suggestions and constructive suggestions for the further reform and construction of the specialty.

Through this professional evaluation, data science and big data technology, robot engineering, art and technology, civil engineering, financial management and other five majors were comprehensively investigated, summed up the experience, found the shortcomings. In the next step, according to the feedback and suggestions of experts, continuous improvement will be implemented in detail, further strengthening the subject consciousness of school quality assurance, perfecting the school self-assessment system, perfecting the teaching quality assurance system based on school self-assessment, taking the quality improvement as the core of the convolution development road, and constantly improving the level of professional construction and school quality. The ability of the profession to serve economic and social development will be enhanced.
