Our Students Won Great Achievements in the "CCB Cup" 16th National College Students' Social Practice and Science and Technology Competition of Energy conservation and Emission Reduction

Net news (article/picture College of general studies Yanyue Liu) Recently, the results of the 16th National College Students' Energy Conservation and Emission Reduction Social Practice and Science and Technology Competition hosted by Southeast University were announced. The team composed of Chao Tang, Deqi Zhong and Licai Dai, under the guidance of teachers Nan Zhang and Haitao Huang from the College of General Studies, made unremitting efforts and finally won 6852 team works from 638 colleges and universities across the country. Won the national third prize.

Led by the College of General Studies, the Academic Affairs Office, the School of Innovation and Entrepreneurship, the School of Electronic Information, and the School of Software and Artificial Intelligence were carefully organized. During the preparation process, the instructor organized centralized training for students and provided suggestions on the entries. The students actively communicated with each other, cooperated with each other, and earnestly improved the entries, which always reflected the central concept of the energy saving and emission reduction competition, and demonstrated the solid physical foundation and professional skills of our students, as well as the excellent quality of daring to innovate and constantly break through.

It is reported that the National College Students' Energy Conservation and Emission Reduction Social Practice and Science and Technology Competition was founded in 2008, aiming to guide and promote young college students to participate in innovative practice closely around the national energy and environmental policies and closely combined with the major national needs. Under the direct leadership of the Ministry of Education and the active cooperation of the majority of universities, after more than ten years of hard work, the number of participating universities in the competition increased from 88 to 638,the number of effective entries increased from 505 to 6852,and the number of participants increased from more than 1,000 to more than 50,000. It has developed into a leading, demonstrative and mass innovative competition for national well-known college students, and is gradually forming a complete competition system at the university level, provincial level and national level.
