The School of Architecture and Engineering Organized a Review Meeting for the New Version of the Professional Talent Training Plan

The meeting invited Vice President  Mingshu Tan, Director of Academic Affairs Qian Yang, and 7 experts from external universities and industries to participate in the evaluation of this professional training plan.

During the meeting, Jiang Lei, Dean of the School of Architecture and Engineering, introduced to the experts the overall situation of the preparation of the new version of the talent training program of the college; The deans of the Department of Environmental Design, the Department of Engineering Management and the Department of Civil Engineering introduced the preparation and main characteristics of the relevant professional talent training programs, and the participating experts reviewed them one by one. The review experts spoke highly of the school's talent training ideas of "highlighting the comprehensive quality training of students, the cultivation of engineering technology application ability and the cultivation of students' independent learning ability" and the talent training mode of "school-enterprise cooperation and integration of industry and education", and put forward many constructive opinions and suggestions from many aspects such as talent training positioning, talent training goals, professional curriculum system setting and implementation, and professional practice teaching link design.

With the help of this meeting, Vice President Mingshu Tan issued letters of appointment to the school industry experts who participated in the review meeting on behalf of the school. Through this review, the School of Architecture and Engineering further strengthened the grasp of talent training goals and specifications, and absorbed opinions and suggestions on further improving the professional talent training curriculum system and teaching conditions construction, which laid a better foundation for the college to continuously improve the quality of talent training.
