Taste of Poetry in Chongqing the "2023 Chongqing Mid-Autumn Festival Reading Party" Was Held at Peng's Residence

On the evening of September 27th, in the Chongqing Institute of Engineering, in the old courtyard of Ba County with a history of more than 200 years - Peng's Residence, a "2023 Chongqing Mid-Autumn Festival Reading Meeting" that traveled through ancient and modern times with poetry as the medium, presenting a feast of ancient and modern culture collision to the audience with various art forms such as recitation and singing.  Chaobin Shu, member of the Standing Committee of the Banan District Party Committee and director of the Propaganda Department, Zheng Zhou, vice chairman of the District Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, and Changhong Chen, Secretary of the Party Committee and Supervisor of Chongqing Institute of Technology, attended the event.

The event was hosted by the Publicity Department of Chongqing Banan District Party Committee, Banan District Culture and Tourism Committee, Chongqing Traffic Radio Station, Chongqing Poetry Creation Committee, and Banan District Media Center, aiming to carry forward the excellent traditional Chinese culture, inherit and promote Bayu culture, promote reading for all people, and practice the core socialist values. The event invited poet Shunbin Wang, literary expert Xianzhong Huang, as well as recitation artists such as Kefei Zhu, Min Zhang, Sang Tian, Hui Chen and more than 50 poetry lovers to recite famous texts, appreciate elegant music, and go to the poetic covenant together. It is reported that Banan, as an important bearer of Bayu culture, has a rich historical and cultural heritage. The Peng Residence is the best-preserved, largest and most representative residential compound in Banan. With the help of the old courtyard of Peng's Residence, this Mid-Autumn Festival Reading Conference presents three chapters of "Yuzhou Singing Night", "Bashan South Wind" and "Bashan Yushui" around the cultural inheritance of Bayu. Teachers and students of our school watched the live broadcast through online live broadcast, and everyone left messages saying "standing at the node of the era of new Chongqing, continuing the thousand-year-old cultural context", "taking dreams as horses, building a new Chongqing", and "making the beautiful Bayu land more poetic".
