Software College Holds 2023 "Teacher Ethics Lecture Hall" Theme Lecture Conference

The lecture was presided over by Ziling Liu, Secretary of the General Party Branch, and attended by members of the college's party and government team and all teachers.
Ziling Liu interpreted the "Implementation Plan for the Construction of Teacher's Ethics and Professional Conduct in Software College (2023 Edition)" from the perspectives of guiding ideology, construction goals, work measures, and work requirements. She said that the college has always attached great importance to and adhered to the construction of teacher's ethics and professional conduct for a long time, and insisted on placing teacher's ethics and professional conduct at the top of the construction of the teaching staff. It is a fundamental project to solidify the soul and cultivate moral character. Teachers should improve their political standing and continuously improve their moral cultivation, Establishing oneself with virtue, learning with virtue, and teaching with virtue.
Subsequently, five teachers from various departments (teaching and research rooms) and student departments delivered themed lectures. Teacher Yahong Leng from the Department of Software Engineering, titled "A Heavy Worker of Practitioners," talks about him practicing his teacher's responsibility and mission day and night. He communicates with teachers and handles work affairs from morning to night, from winter vacation to summer vacation; Prepare class content and solve student problems; Keep up with industry trends and learn professional knowledge. Even during his hospitalization, he was correcting homework and answering student questions. He was a model student who was inspired by the spirit of heavy industry and fearless of difficulties.
The book "Compiling Dreams to Help You Set Sail" shared by Teacher Bin Chen from the Department of Software Engineering tells the story of how he, as a class mentor, student club instructor, and teacher studio leader, led his student team to learn their majors and participate in competitions. He encourages students to "aim high" in their majors and appreciates their seemingly "unrealistic" ideas. He believes that only high vision can lead to high skill. Over the past three years since the establishment of ACM Club and Weiyang Studio, he has always adhered to his profession, creating learning models and collaborating with counselors to empower students in multiple dimensions, guiding them to use technology to help their lives and give back to society.
Teacher Li Xinxin from the Department of Digital Media Technology, titled 'Teacher's Ethics, Craftsmanship, Education, and Dream Building', tells the story between him and his students. He always adheres to the concept of "promoting learning through competitions, enhancing abilities through learning, promoting teaching through competitions, and integrating competitions with teaching", and urges students to participate in professional competitions. Taking competitions as an opportunity, he strengthens the cultivation of students' professional abilities. Over the past decade, teaching methods such as "layered teaching, project driven, and assistance combined" have been developed, enabling students with stronger majors to improve, students with average majors to consolidate, and students with weaker majors to lay a solid foundation and gradually improve, striving to achieve achievements and gains for all students.
Teacher Kaiyou Yuan, from the Software Public Technology Teaching and Research Office, tells the story of his 18 years of heavy industry and his lack of service as an outsider, titled "Diligent and Trustworthy Teacher". During the school evaluation period, he faced tasks such as heavy assessment tasks, heavy responsibilities, tight schedules, numerous tasks, and miscellaneous affairs. He faced difficulties and researched and sorted them out one by one, often using his vacation and spare time to study policies online, conduct research outside, analyze indicators, refine supporting materials, and collaborate to promote the evaluation work. Although the road ahead is far, he keeps walking and integrates education into life. In his heart, "preaching, imparting knowledge, and dispelling doubts" is the responsibility of teachers, and doing a hundred points is his duty. He is only doing his best.
The true portrayal of Teacher Ke Xuan Yu , a student, is that she never neglects the hardships of a gardener, but seeks the fragrance of peaches and plums. She always moves forward with gentle strength, guiding and changing students with loving education.
Finally, Dean Longfu Zhou gave a concluding speech, highly affirming the dedication and guidance of the teachers in education and teaching work, and calling on all teachers to deepen their ideological understanding, conscientiously fulfill their teacher responsibilities, and strictly demand themselves with the standards of "Four Good Teachers", "Four Guides", and "Four Unifications", becoming a moral and intellectual teacher that students admire and love.
