School Leader Mingshu Tan Enters the Classroom to Teach the Course “Situation and Policy”

The topic taught in this class is "Accelerating the Construction of an Education, Technology, and Talent Powerful Country". Mingshu Tan, based on the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, introduced the theme of accelerating the construction of an Education, Technology, and Talent Powerful Country. He then analyzed the importance of the Trinity of Education, Technology, and Talent Powerful Country. Finally, he combined his own personal experience and detailed latest cases to conduct the lecture.

In the analysis of the relationship between accelerating the construction of a strong education, technology, and talent country, Mingshu Tan, based on his own growth experience in his learning career, highlighted the importance and irreplaceable nature of education, as well as the country's emphasis and investment in education. China's education industry has made significant development and progress. As of 2022, China's gross enrollment rate in higher education has reached 59.6%, and it will exceed 60% by 2023. Education plays a crucial and decisive role in the cultivation of talents and the development of technology.

In the lecture, Mingshu Tan used the familiar C919 aircraft and Huawei's development and global influence to once again demonstrate that the great power of technology requires strengthening the construction and development of basic disciplines. Higher education is the leader of national development and progress. We heavy industry students need to continuously strengthen the learning and improvement of basic disciplines, and at the same time, we need to continuously improve our personal comprehensive literacy, cultivate personal skills, and learn to have strong points.
