This event invited five expert judges, and all full-time teachers and student representatives of the School of Marxism came to observe the competition.

A total of 10 students from seven professional colleges of the school participated in the competition. Focusing on the relevant chapters and topics in the three courses of ideological and political courses, the contestants carefully carried out teaching design, fully prepared, beautifully produced courseware, combined with current affairs and diversified Xi resources, with serious academic language, flexible presentation forms, fluent language expression, or eloquent or passionate, or smart and lively or solemn and quiet, around the teaching content of ideological and political courses. The atmosphere of the competition was warm and the applause continued, presenting a unique ideological and political classroom for the judges and the audience. After more than two hours of fierce competition, Li Xuan of the School of Digital Arts won the first prize for "Strengthening Cultural Confidence and Promoting Cultural Prosperity"; Liao Sunyu of the School of Civil Engineering won the second prize for "How to Look at the Three Arguments of the West Singing and Declining China", and Chen Yao of the School of Computer and Internet of Things for "Creating the Light of Civilization and Cultivating Cultural Confidence"; Li Jiahao of the School of Big Data and Artificial Intelligence's "No Accumulation of Steps, No Thousands of Miles", Zhou Xinzhu's "The Secret of the World's No. 1 Party" and Deng Jingyi's "The Third Chapter of the Basic Principles of Marxism in World Exchanges" won the third prize.

After the competition, Kong Fanfang, a school-level supervisor and evaluation expert, commented on the contestants. Encourage students to keep in mind General Secretary Xi Jinping's instructions, be firm believers and faithful practitioners of socialism with Chinese characteristics, show the Marxist theoretical literacy and spiritual outlook of college students in the new era, and strive to be the first and move forward bravely on the new journey.

It is reported that this year's college students' ideological and political course competition lasted for more than one month, and under the careful guidance of ideological and political teachers, a total of 10 students stood out and entered the finals after layers of selection. This competition deepened the students' understanding and thinking about the teaching content of ideological and political courses, improved the sense of acquisition of college students to learn Xi ideological and political courses, and fully demonstrated the Marxist theoretical literacy and spiritual outlook of college students. This competition aims to mobilize students' enthusiasm and initiative in Xi learning ideological and political courses, improve students' theoretical literacy and thinking ability, and is an important practical activity for the school to promote the innovation of ideological and political courses, and effectively enhance the attractiveness and appeal of ideological and political courses.
