Good News! Our School's First-class Curriculum Construction has Achieved Excellent Results Again

Net news (article/ picture Yan Zhang from the Academic Affairs Office)Recently, the Chongqing Municipal Education Commission issued a notice on the announcement of the list of first-class foreign language online open course construction and application projects of the China University Foreign Language MOOC Alliance for undergraduate universities in Chongqing in 2023 (Yu Jiao Gao Han [2023] No. 80). Our school's blended online and offline course "College English A" has been approved as a key project of the Chongqing 2023 "first-class foreign language online open course construction and application project of the China University Foreign Language MOOC Alliance".

Curriculum is the core element of talent cultivation, and the quality of curriculum directly determines the quality of talent cultivation. In recent years, the school has attached great importance to talent cultivation, resolutely implemented the fundamental task of cultivating morality and talents, fully promoted the construction of first-class undergraduate courses, and comprehensively improved the quality of undergraduate education and teaching. The approval of this project is an important manifestation of our school's in-depth implementation of the reform of foreign language teaching in universities in the new era and continuous improvement of the quality of foreign language teaching. It is also a full affirmation of our school's teachers in the construction of foreign language courses and teaching reform.

Next, our school will establish a student-centered curriculum construction concept, promote curriculum reform and innovation, implement scientific curriculum evaluation and strict curriculum management, improve quality oriented curriculum construction incentive mechanisms, and form a diversified curriculum system. At the same time, our school will continue to attach great importance to the construction of teaching quality engineering for foreign language courses, fully leverage the demonstration effect of approved courses, and promote the comprehensive improvement of undergraduate teaching level and talent cultivation quality through course construction.
