Net news (article/picture dean's office Yan Zhang)In order to further summarize experience, promote the construction of first-class courses in our school, promote classroom teaching reform, improve the quality of talent cultivation, and lay the foundation for applying for national first-class courses in the future, on December 1st, our school organized a special event for sharing and exchanging first-class courses in Chongqing in 2023 at the Lecture Hall of the Seventh Teaching Building of Nanquan Campus. The event was hosted by Qian Yang, Director of the Academic Affairs Office, and attended by Vice Presidents Mingshu Tan and Qionghua Wang. Vice Dean of Teaching, Director of the Academic Affairs Department, Department Head, Professional Leader, and Course Leader also participated in the event.

Firstly, representatives Beibei Luo, Tijin Gui, Lingcui Sun, and Jun Lin, who were in charge of first-class undergraduate courses in Chongqing in 2023, shared their application experience, precautions, and personal insights. Online course representative Beibei Luo stated the process of online course construction, application requirements, and evaluation indicators, and proposed to start running data on major platforms as soon as possible. Every sentence presented in online course videos must have corresponding material support; Offline courses represent your physical education. Teachers mainly discuss the course introduction, cultivation and application process, and self reflection. They propose that first-class courses must integrate ideological and political education into the curriculum, and closely adhere to national policies and school positioning, promote layer by layer, and have specific support; The representative of blended courses,Lingcui Sun, presents the preparation and construction process of the curriculum, as well as the key points and misconceptions of application. She transforms the achievements and practices of domestic operating systems into ideological and political elements, integrates them into teaching content, and achieves curriculum education; Lin Jun, the representative of the virtual simulation experiment course, gave a presentation on the background, construction process, insights, and subsequent planning of the course construction. He hopes that after continuous improvement, it will achieve the combination of "virtual and real", the integration of "theory and reality", and the open sharing of resources. During the sharing process, all four teachers repeatedly emphasized the importance of a first-class curriculum that emphasizes gender equality.

Subsequently, Hailian Liu, the consultant director of Chaoxing Curriculum, and Li Juan, a senior course consultant of Wisdom Tree, respectively shared their experience in polishing first-class courses in Chongqing. They also gave important explanations on the evaluation indicators for the upcoming third batch of national first-class undergraduate courses, and will be committed to assisting each course leader in solving the key and difficult points in the application process in the future.

Subsequently, Xiaobo Zhou, Deputy Director of the Academic Affairs Office, summarized the application for first-class courses in Chongqing in 2023 and presented data showing that our school has significantly improved the success rate of application and made breakthroughs in the recognition of types this year. Through this application, a "incubation cultivation polishing" work mode has been formed for project applications at the city level and above. At the same time, a statement was made on the ideas and main measures for subsequent teaching construction work, stating that teaching construction will focus on the limited resources of the school, focus on explicit achievements, and pay more attention to the effectiveness of use. It will also be linked with the Education and Development Center to enhance everyone's teaching and research capabilities, and continue to promote education and teaching reform in our school.

Finally,Mingshu Tan affirmed the application for first-class courses in Chongqing in his speech, pointing out that the school will continue to invest resources and strongly support teaching construction. He hopes that through the joint efforts of all teachers, there will be new breakthroughs in the Chongqing Teaching Achievement Award and the construction of national first-class undergraduate courses.
